Don't be Fooled By Email Forwards - It is Dangerous to Our Health

Just in case you didn't hear yet - there is no such thing as the United Nations International Health Organization. I received an email forward from a dear friend who really means well. Unfortunately, there are many hoaxes and scare tactics being used to influence good hearted people that might just be too busy taking care of everyone else. This email is one of them.
And there is no such article ever printed or considered for print by the Investor's Business Daily. Google it and you will find several references to this BOGUS article.

The email forwards subject line is usually something to the effect: "Your Christmas Present from the Govt that you Never Asked for."
The only people getting a Christmas present from the Senate & House bills are the insurance companies.

The US remains with the highest infant mortality amongst our peer industrialized nations AND we have the lowest life expectancy among the same group.

Mandating everyone to purchase health insurance(which is what the senate bill does) will not help those traditional benchmarks for the overall health of a culture/community. The race for reform in 2009 became less about reforming health care and more about insurance.

Who is a Criminal - Parents or Providers?

Take a minute to read the articles linked to below then please share your thoughts: Is this a question of the conflict of the separation of church and state? What is the child died after they sought medical care as well? If a child dies in a parents arms who has not sought medical treatment, the parent is criminally liable and it is acceptable to put them in jail. In contrast: If a child dies in a medical setting from preventable errors after the parents have sought medical care of a trained health care provider, it is not acceptable to for the provider to be held criminally liable and serve jail time. Corrections

In my earnest efforts to improve the lives, illnesses, and deaths of anyone in the health care system I have had to share a rather personal story. All I have of my son is his memory. Yes, I am among the lucky bereaved parents that have surviving children. For each of them, there are memories about their births, illnesses and lives that will remain private. It is for our family to treasure.
